High-temperature silicone cable is a type of wire with silicone rubber as its insulating material, capable of withstanding high temperatures. Due to its excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, flexibility, and electrical insulation properties, it is widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, lighting, automotive, and industrial equipment.

Key Performance Characteristics

1. Excellent Temperature Resistance
Extremely wide operating temperature range: Typically stable from -60°C to +200°C, with short‑term exposure to even higher temperatures.
Advantage over alternatives: Ordinary PVC wire operates only between about -20°C and +80°C. While PTFE (Teflon) wire also withstands high temperatures, it is much stiffer. Silicone wire does not harden or crack easily at high temperatures and remains flexible even at low temperatures.
2. Outstanding Flexibility
The conductor uses finely stranded tinned copper (e.g., 0.08 mm strands) precisely twisted, and the insulation is made of soft silicone rubber.
Small bend radius and very soft feel, making it easy to route in tight spaces, moving parts, or applications requiring frequent bending, without fatigue failure.
3. High Dielectric Strength & Insulation Reliability
The silicone rubber insulation offers high dielectric strength. Common voltage ratings are 600V, while high‑voltage versions can reach 3KV, 20KV, or even higher.
High insulation resistance and low leakage current effectively ensure electrical safety.
4. Excellent Aging & Environmental Resistance
Resistant to ozone, UV, acids, and alkalis; it does not age easily and has a long service life.
Good flame retardancy; many types meet UL VW‑1 or FT1 flame ratings and self‑extinguish.
5. High Current Carrying Capacity
Thanks to silicone rubber's heat resistance, it can carry higher current for a given cross‑sectional area compared to ordinary PVC wire, helping with device miniaturization and increased power density.

Moisture prevention: A desiccant (silica gel packet) must be placed inside the coiled cable, and the humidity indicator card should be checked before sealing the film.
Fumigation: If wooden pallets or trays are used for export, they must bear the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention) fumigation mark, otherwise they may be destroyed or subject to mandatory treatment at the destination port.
Label: The shipping mark must be firmly affixed, including the contract number, gross weight, reel number, as well as marks such as "Do Not Stack" and "Keep Dry".
